SSV worth the money?
In my opinion, the looks alone amake this a must own piece. I get more compliments on this than the body kit or the Vortech!! As far as gains, I am not sure about that.

SSVs gains aren't worth the money.

I've heard mixed reviews about the Kinetix SSV. If you plan on staying NA, then there are less expensive alternatives that will produce similar results (such as the Crawford or APS plenums, as well as the AAM or Motordyne spacers).
On the other hand, if you plan on going FI, then the SSV should be well worth your money. The Kinetix site suggests that the SSV was optimized for FI applications.
Hope this helps.

i plan on going FI eventually. Plus this one looks real pretty. thats one reason i bought it. The other reason is that it fits the stock strut bar which all the other ones didnt, except the spacers which are prone to leaking especially w/ FI. I like this one the best.
i went to a shop the other day that was doing a turbo on a z with this plenum that was making less hp than stock when it was NA. they also said that it was running very very lean. take of it what you will, ive heard this is more of an FI plenum anyway.
