Default Exhaust Gaskets

So I just got a whole bunch of stuff for my Z (coilovers, sways, exhuast & cats) and an appointment with a shop to install everything this Sat. The problem: The cats only came with one set of gaskets (one three bolt and one two bolt)... I e-mailed and called the people I got them from, but have not received confirmation that I will get the missing gaskets in time for the install. I assume the exhuast come with the required two bolt gasket where the cat bolts to the exhaust (can someone who got the APS exhaust 2.5 system please confirm that it is included). I also called the local Nissan dealership and they do not have the gasket and may not be able to get it by Sat...

So here is my question: Is is possible to reuse the gasket that is currently on the car?

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

The stock gaskets are metal and are reusable. If they are flat, you should be fine. Mine have been on and off four time, once for exhaust, once for new exhaust then again for cats, then again for headers. No leaks.

Its possible to reuse the metal gaskets, but you'll notice that a used gasket (which at one time had raised ridges) is now crushed, and a potential for leakage. Make a couple of calls to auto parts stores other than Nissan. If you can’t find new gaskets, its not a show-stopper: considering the location of the gaskets, they’re easy to replace (unlike the header - engine and header - catalytic converter gaskets).

Another minor note: look at the hardware. I recommend marine quality hardware including self-sealing nuts or lock-washers or locktite. A quality cat- back exhaust deserves quality hardware.
