i just bought my 350z and for christmas i want an intake.i would like to know if anybody could reccomend some($200-$400)

They are all about the same, buy the one you think looks the best (IMO injen) or is the cheapest (JWT popcharger).

Either one will make the same noise and give an astronomical 3 whp gain

JWT Popcharger is the best one you can get bar none. Do a search. You can buy cooler looking intakes with long tubes that are fancy looking and come in a variety of colors etc and spend more money, but then you are just another victim of marketing. Get the JWT if you value function over form.

while Injen for the real CAI

 

Injen sp1986. Showed bump in hp,looks good and can be used as short ram and CIA.

Jwt popcharger alll the way. Have had one installed for a couple months and love it. One of the best bang for the buck modds.

 

For 400 dollars you can get yourself a popcharger plus megan testpipes or plenum spacer for example. If your willing to spend 400 dollars that is for quick gains.

 

I really think it reacts better to other mods that compared to CAI(cold air intake) that are tucked under the fender+hard to reach and clean.
