Default plenum spacer on 2006?

i assume the same plenum spacer's that you guys are using on 03-05 z's would work on 06, but my question is would i get the same hp #'s or not?
it looks like alot of you peeps have upgraded that on your rides, and it sounds like a good deal for the hp#'s.

I'm not the one who really should be answering this, but if I am not mistaken, I beleive that the 2006 is the same as the 2005 anniversary engine. Hence, if anybody from 2005 with the track or anniversary engine did the upgrade, then yes.

actually you will probably want to speak to Tony from Motordyne engineering on
these forums. the word i heard is that the plenum spacer does not have notable
gains on a the revup engine. Tony addressed this with a new mod for the revup
engine only. i can't speak on the AAM spacer, etc. but i would assume the same
would be true with those as well on the revup engine.

the 2006 all contain the revup engine if i remember correctly. so definitely check
before you plunk some $$ down on a spacer alone on your revup.

daytona...

check out this thread from a while back. drop down to post #10 where Tony
(Hydrazine on the forums) talks about the 1/2" plenum spacer on the revup.

https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-drivetrain/146774-05-high-rev-motors-18whp-22-29wtq-a-thanks-to-tony-motordyne-engineering.html

i would pm Tony if you need more information on the mod he has for the revup
motor. Tony is a good guy and his products are top notch. i'm running the 5/16"
on my non-revup motor and the gains are there. so i have no doubt the new NA
mod for the revup that he has will produce results. Performance Nissan has the
new mod on sell here and it goes for $487...

http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=5988

you can also get it directly from Motordyne Engineering here...

http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.asp

hope that helps.

A plenum spacer itself does not do much for the Rev Up engine but this would make a good amount of HP, MREV

Dont get this mod for what it does to the peak HP numbers. That's not what its about. MREV is about Area Under The Curve. (Torque, Acceleration and Fun)

It won't do much for dyno queens or max HP bragging rights but it will give you a faster Z.
