Default K&N Intakes... HELP!!

hey guys... i did a search regarding the difference between the K&N 69 series typhoon and the K&N 63 series aircharger intakes, but it yielded a couple of relevant threads with no answers.

here it is again. it seems like the aircharger achieves a higher hp gain at a lower rpm... but i also noticed a lot of people in this forum have the typhoon one installed.

so my question: anyone who has the aircharger installed? like it? i'm also thinking about the nismo CAI. but with all these options i'm just another confused consumer. please help out! thanks.

happy holidays and new years.

You want me to be honest? Do it right and get a popcharger, you wont be dissapointed. That's the hands down choice of the forum.

Funny how they can take a CAI and give it a snappy name like 'popcharger' and all of a sudden it sells like mad. Someone should make an exhaust and call it the 'turbo vent' or something snappy like that. I bet it would have similar results...

Its not CAI but its a ram air intake that only cost 100 bucks and provide more than 1hp/$100 increase
thats why

basically an intake is an intake is an intake.

The most popular is the JWT, followed by the injen or nismo. I haven't read much about poeple and the k&n.

Get the one that you think has the best looks because the minimal gain you get is going to be within spitting distance of every other intake out there.

I have the K and N setup as a short ram intake... like it so far..

as somebody said, unless you dyno your car you won't feel any difference from the intakes on the market... I like mine though and that's what counts

Basically Injen or Nismo looks the greatest
If your area is wet get JWT, K&N Typhoon or NISMO
If your area is dry get Injen, AEM
