And you are correct it's not too impressive, but I did not loose any hp or tq, instead I think I got some.
We all know how sh**ty our ecu's are. So without tuning most mods will not do anything “IMPRESSIVE " like you said.

people look at these HP numbers and have no idea what 300 whp, 400whp or 500 whp feels like. at 450 whp and 480wtq, my car is crazy. I orginally wanted more power when my tuner said he could get me to 500 and then during the tune, he said 450 or so is where I would be. I got in the car aftewords, and all I have to say is the car is a monster - scary fast.
to be honest, you don't need a replacement manifold, or even a spacer to get to 500whp.
think about it though, you would have two grand tied up in a plenum and utec that might get you 15 whp or so. 2 grand is a pretty good chunk to put towards a FI setup that comes with it's own EMS out of box - and you would be talking 170 whp gains (single turbos)
Are you on a built motor? If not, like I plan to be, I would get the best EMS money can buy and looks like u-tech is it. I would never try to save a few hundred on EMS and risk thousands on a blown engine.
And back to SSV, I think it's a very good and quality product. I had a Crawford plenum for three weeks and sold it for an SSV. Looks and quality are way better and performance feels the same.
