Default exhaust removal???

i was playing arround with my exhaust seein the different sound combinations i could make on a all stock system...

the one i liked best was removing everything after the Y pipe...

i picked up a few MPG's as well as an almost race car like sound, espically at higher RPM... no rasping that i can tell...

i found myself driving around with window down just to listen to it hehe.. was fun. and VERY loud prolly a ticket magnet but it sounded GOOD unlike the other civic type fart cans arround my area

anyway, does this actually make power since there is about 50 less lbs. and much less back pressure?

i might have a cut out pipe installed for permanent use street/ performance use

are there any negative or damaging effects to anything other than my ears?

any one else do this ? results?

ya im sure those would be a better choice

you could run a pipe from the midpipe to right infornt of the driver read wheel

that would look sweet

yea it would i think side piped could be nice espically if molded in a body kit..BUT i tried that and the extra tubing of the midpipe turns the sound into far more high pitched raspy farty noise

So you are driving a 350Z without a muffler? That sounds like something a kid in a Honda might do to be cool, but not a 350Z. Buy an exhaust system worthy of the 350Z.
