+1 ^^^^

My friend put one on his 1983 911 SC (he called in a flow meister) and it sounded so mean. I really want something to give the Z a lower, deeper growl that sounds like all hell breaking loose at high rpms

Default Flowmaster

I installed the flowmasters right after I got the car. The first thing out of everyone's mouth is that they love the sound. I believe it is the flowmaster 80. Sorry I don't have a sound clip but if you go this route you won't be sorry.

this is how I have to talk to you?!?!?! Thanks for the phone calls lately. Nice user name--now buy your own Z. Let me know what you decide to do with the exhaust and if you find a sound clip

hey man, you know my number too. No thanks, i'm quite happy with my p-car traitor. oh, and when the f are you gonna return my tools for the "one day brake job"?
I've been scouring this board all day looking for clips, no one has one. everyone who has one seems to be happy with the sound though. I think we're just gonna do it. If it sucks, we'll put the stock one back on. anyway, i'll keep you posted.
later.

sean,
what was your previous car? I've had good experience with flowmasters on my other cars and I imagine it will sound good on the z too.

it was a camaro, with a 327, so the sound will vary, but still, i had tryed the cheap ones life cherry bombs and thrush and they were horrible....flowmaster mufflers were 50 bucks each for me, so cost shouldn't be a big deal, i looked for there Cats but i can't find them on thier web site, maybe they stopped making them.

Jordan, just put in on the car. Then we can all hear what it sounds like. I'll even come over and take pics and video clips

summit racing has them for $80 also. So if you don't want ebay you can get a reputable real dealer. And make sure it's 1 in 2 out 2.5"
