Default Just bought a Borla TD Cat Back Syetem

Like it says, I just bought it today and now I am itching to get it on the Zed. I guess that this is the second mod of many more to come...I can see the wallet flood gates opening up...lol

Next...Kinetics Resonated Test Pipes and then a Motordyne 5/16 Spacer.

I can't wait for spring to get here!

I've always leaned toward borla and I recently purchased some used Kinteix cats. I was lucky enough to stumble upon some sound clips of this combo and it was just pure sex. Now I have my heart set on this setup. One of our great vendors has it for $715 shipped right now so I'm probably gonna jump on the borla soon.

i have the same set up except the Kinetics Resonated Test Pipes. You can just use a Topspeed or Megan test pipe and they work the same but much cheaper (few hundreds dollars)

Bubble,

Do you have either the topspeed or megan test pipes? If so, how raspy is the exhaust note (if any)?

Thanks!

i have the topspeed and i don't have any raspy sound at all. However, my previous Random Technology HFC give me some raspy sound. (cost more but suck)

I think that I did as well, I liked the sound of the Nismo a little better but just could not justify the extra money for it...

You will like the sound of that set up. Makes me want to keep my foot in it all the time though, and gas prices are going up, dang.

Good choice with Borla. I have Popcharger, plenum spacer, Labree test pipes and Borla TD and it sounds very good. Only really loud if I get on it, but can be fairly tame if driven easy. You will like the Borla.
