test pipes are definitely not for just turbo setups... I have helix test pipes myself and I am n/a! As for the smell... yes there is a bit more of a carbon monoxcide smell but it depends if you want to save money and go faster!?? Or spend more money on high flow cats

One or the other not both. I like the list: no high priced exotic names, and no eBay garbage. The only thing that I question is the labor hours. I'm thinking 4.5 hours max.

BTW when are you getting started?

I am down with install some of the bolt on parts myself to save a little money and also if you guys know of any web sites that are a litttle cheeper let me know.
theses guys know that i am a newbie adn they charged me 300 bucks to install 2 front brakpads and a new shifter and also another 200 bucks to install stock spark plugs these guys have gotten fat enough off of my wallett.
I got respect for their talent but not their over pricing..
so if you guys are in the houston area and want to lend a hand let me know!!!

you could pay a local guy a 500 bucks to put that stuff on! hell id take 300 bucks and a afteroon to do that! ive done all but the cpu reflash, not hard to do! specially with the right tools.

you really dont need the 3 piece pulley set, the crank pulley is all ya really need. youll need new belts though.

Quality labor is not cheap. Still post regional questions in the regional forum. Other local members may have some shop suggestions.

That's probably book time and not actual time to install which is why they probably settled on a lower price. Most shops charge book time and not the actual time it takes them to do the work.

As far as SGP they are very honest people. I had my car there for 4 months for my 2nd motor build. I just picked it up last week and the tune is all wacked because of the increase in temps I'm experiencing in Miami compared to Houston. Mark offered to fly to Miami during the weekend to retune my car. I took the offer, but decided to just install the HKS FCON while he is out here. They do quality work and have excellent customer service.

If you stay out of boost most the time you might get better gas milage. The only thing is it's hard to stay out of boost.
