Default Top Secret ITB setup

I seen these online yesterday.... and saw a new thread from the other forum talking about it (Thanks to Toykilla).... and here are some photos!

The price isn't cheap.... it is gonna cost around 6K! But anyway... it is a good start!

EDIT: the first pic is not the ITB... it still has the factory throttle there, but with the new plenum on the N/A setup...

cheers,

richie

Looks like the ITBs are under the velocity stacks housed inside the "plenum" (really just a box so that they can all draw filtered air from the same source). Cool. Gonna need some monster hood to fit that thing, though.

After seeing that last picture it looks like it was converted to a cable type throttle... nothing breakthrough here. When I actually see 6 individual throttle bodies being driven by wire then i'll be impressed.

Some EE will have to create a brain that interprets input/output signals of the stock TB and have it replicate to 6 individual ports.

Wow, that's dead sexy. 6k + engine management ain't cheap, but it would be pretty sweet on an all out NA build.

I'm not really feelin the hoods, though.

those aren't individual throttle bodies, this was mentioned before, if you take a look at some of the pics with the whole system in place you will notice that the stock single throttle body is still there.

There are 2 systems shown, one is ITB and one isn't, the TT setup is ITB and the NA (with the OEM airbox) isn't ITB.

Nuff is right... look closely yourself... the one with the TT setup, it is the ITB... and the one with the single throttle body is the one on the N/A setup... as I mentioned in my first post!

cheers,

richie
