Talking ** FIRST LOOK at STRUP test pipe ** / STRUP header

i just receive the header and testpipe from STRUP today. The testpipe is one of their newest release for the Z. I'll install the header and testpipe sometime next week and run some dyno on it.

* Price: $159

From first impression, the craftsman quality between Megan/Topspeed and Strup are day and night. Here are some pictures.

STRUP TEST PIPES

I'll have the review about fitment later.

Hey Bubble you think can take a pic of to show the night and day quality. For example the difference between the welds.

Thanks,
Ruben

well when you do the install maybe try to take a snap while you got both on the ground if you can. If you don't I personally would trust your judgement with what you see from looking at them side by side.

I have UTR test pipes and Strupp headers, and I think that the UTR welds are much better than the Strupp welds.
Just my opinion

Looks like a well made pipe. And I like the care taken with the polished stainless steel finish.

I suspect that with the pipe in place, the oxygen sensor faces toward the center of the car and not down toward the street.

Those look nice. The APS version has a little bracket welded to it.

I'll find that out next week. Hopefully fitment is good also.

I don't see why they are necessary

Hey Bubble... Are you going to have Ted install your strup set-up? He did my strup headers.

Anyway... I've been waiting for these test pipes to come out.

Please post your review and if possible the dyno.
