Default motordyne spacer installed

i finally installed my spacer today, the install was extremly easy. very well written directions, everything seem to be installed correctly and is idling fine. but honestly i cant say i feel much of a difference. i know this is kinda dumb because i dont have a dyno between the before and after but i was expecting enough to feel the difference. i am gonna race my buddy in his audi tt, which i have been kinda using for a base, tomorrow night and see what happens. i also have a jwt pop charger that i installed a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with that.
perhaps i will FEEL more tomorrow, so to say, and i will let u know. i like the product i guess, i just shouldve dyno'd before and after. any feel the same?

your car must suck then

i remember when i got it, the change, esp. above 4k RPM, was immediately noticeable.

Sport Z magazine testing showed an additional 5 pounds of peak torque with the spacer. Considering that 5 pounds is about a 2 percent increase over stock, I wouldn't expect to feel anything.

Yeah it wasn't a huge difference, but I could definitely tell just by the way the car responded and felt at higher rpm's that it was there. Like someone said you may want to reset your ECU.

is that just by unplugging the (-) side of the battery?

Do you have to unplug the battery during or after install?

so kinda-of a weird day today. i started the car in the morning, let it warm up and stuff, drove around and felt the same as the night before. but then around 1:00 p.m., after putting on about 50 miles or so after the spacer the car began to have more pickup. it sounds different, and has better low-end torque too. i cant now say that i can notice a difference with this mod.
i was considering resetting my ecu earlier in the day but now im not sure i have to anymore.
i will have to go back and retorque the bolts later though to make sure they are still all tight!
you do have to disconnect the battery first also, before even starting the install.

I reset my ECU today. After a good drive I got after it a few times hard in 2nd and 3rd. The car seems to fall flat on its face above 6k! from 6k to 7k now it seem to really struggle. Pulled okay to 6k but nothing after that. I was waiting and looking at the tack, it took for ever to get to 7k. Any ideas? I realize that the Mrev doesn't do anything between 6&7k but I'm thinking that I'v lost a lot of power on top somewhere.

With the MREV you will lose 3-4 horsepower from 6K RPM-7K RPM. If you are looking for more power in that area, using the OEM lower plenum would be ideal.

I too intially thought i couldn't feel a difference. But after the TB and ECU reset then drove it for another 50 to 80km's. I felt an unreal boost in the top end of the revs
