Yeah, but still less than a Stillen Exhaust. It is crazy money...I think they would make a lot more if they charged half, but got a lot more people interested in doing it.

The Apexi SAFC II seems like the U-Tech and all those types in that you need to tune it...I just don't have the knowledge of the VQ35 to feel comfortable in doing that stuff.

 

Good luck with that...Hurricanes just keep getting worst and worst all over the world...Did you hear about Hurricane Monica that passed right over Australia? 180MPH sustained winds...Wind gust of over 210MPH!

Absolutely. That would be a very helpfull thing to use if dyno results show you can use it... And it will make definite power if you are running lean.

When you tune on a Apexi, be sure to only make adjustments at WOT settings. Otherwise the stupid ECU will have a coniption and dial it right back.

Would Apexi work on basic NA mods at all?? Well compared to UTEC or others....

 

It certaintly would be a lot better than no F/A adjustments at all. Compared to UTEC it will be a lot more limited in its capabilities but still a lot better than nothing.

They aren't too much. I say go for it if you want one.

so this is my situation.....Im going to purchase an Mrev setup very soon. From my understanding, is the Mrev 2 is the only lower collector offered now. I havent been able to understand the advantages of the Mrev2 over the older Mrev or Mrev+. I want to pair it up to the 5/16 spacer, but is the iso-thermal spacer going to make much more of a difference then the basic? performance? is it worth the extra $ ???

 

 

from what i understand..

MREV+ is the 287 lower plenum and the spacer together.. and was for the revups..

MREV2 is for any VQ35DE cars and now only the machined lower plenum.. this along with the spacer will create more power than just the machined lower plenum or just the spacer, but not by much.. in order for you to get the maximum power out of those 2 mods together you would need to tune your car..



and where's my MREV2!?!?!?!

 

So now we are waiting for the dyno runs of a MREV-2 and spacer or Crawford Plenum to solidify the tune for more power theory of this combo. I have no doubt the combo will make more power, the question is, at what additional cost? Time to go research UTEC and eManage more in depth.
