Default The New Kinetix resonated Testpipes

I just ordered these. It's the new and improved version and will not throw an engine check light. Anybody running these yet? I'll install them soon, on my stock exhaust. Maybe I'll take some pics and record a sound clip, before I get my exhaust.

I'm interested in how their testpipes do not throw a CEL...

I ran their original versions and didn't get a CEL and they didn't crack. Thought the fitment was pretty good too but I guess their is always room for improvement. I switched back to cats cause with the top down the exhaust was pretty stinky.

I haven't had any CEL issues with my AAM test pipes since adding UTEC. I want to buy resonated test pipes though as my exhaust sounds raspy at WOT.

How do the Kinetix res. test pipes compare to Megan or UTR?

the smell didn't go away after a few weeks?

- usually, the resonated TPs don't throw cells

I have not seen the Megan or UTR's in person. I can say that the Kinetix a pretty nice and their customer service is pretty good too.

No, it stayed smelly. It's not as bad in the coupe but in the roadster with the top down .

When I had my turbo system I was running straight pipes and I never smelled this smell that everyone has. maybe it is because of the turbo or maybe it is the fact that NCR cant tune worth crap and it was running pig rich which lead it to smell like fuel.

I had the Megan resonated TPs for a while and the resonator was a joke. It was about 3" in length and did absolutely nothing to deaden the sound. So, I went back to the OEM cats and am still running them. as for the smell, I had that aweful smell also!
