Default annoying sound with GTSPEC 4ptbar with stock ypipe

4 point ladder bar was just installed and it touches the stock y-pipe. Now the car is loud as f*** anyone have a solution to this?

Space the bar down with shims/washers

I don't run the bar, but you are having an issue with clearance so you either bend the bar or space it to allow the needed clearance

You can also put some header wrap around the bar or the ypipe where the contact is occuring.

i just put dynamat all over the bar and didn't help a thing. so i doubt header wrap will do anything.

which i don't mind if i know which one won't touch the gtspec bar. but i dont' see anyone with gtspec 4ptbar chiming in.

Try contacting Adam @ Z1 Performance or one of the guys at Performance Nissan. They installed it on their cars & can probably give you some pointers on how to correct your issue.

i asked adam and he took it off his car and sold it to a customer so dont' have any inputs for me. I'll ask the performance nissan guys.
