Interesting, i'm assuming spacing it as well, though, i guess that's the same as the plenum spacer?
Just had the car out tonight, first dry roads in ages, gave it the boot several times, it just pulls that much harder through pretty much the whole range now with the spacer![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm guessing i'll get a bigger kick from ART and XYZ?

I did all kinds of testing on the throttle body and it yielded nothing. There just isn't enough relative pressure drop in that area to make any meaningful advantage.
The plenum spacer actually fixes a stock design flaw. Flow blockage from the upper plenum. The spacer makes easy HP.
And yes, the ART pipes and XYZ both enhance the power and sound.
Will you be using a stock exhaust from the Y back?

Post sound clips when you get it together.
And the XYZ pipe is a module of the Shockwave))) exhaust so if you ever want to upgrade your exhaust to a full Shockwave))) exhaust you can do it with your existing Motordyne parts.

BTW, I am looking to get one of your spacers soon and I was wondering if it's worth the extra work to install the copper TB thing? I do drive in the winter but I had just the regular iso thermal spacer before and sometimes would forget to turn the coolant flow valve on, I never ran into any icing problems or anything.

They used a 90mm TB and they gained some good power.
BTW, I am looking to get one of your spacers soon and I was wondering if it's worth the extra work to install the copper TB thing? I do drive in the winter but I had just the regular iso thermal spacer before and sometimes would forget to turn the coolant flow valve on, I never ran into any icing problems or anything.

^ Definitely Copper for IL.
All northern states should use the Copper Iso Thermal. Its an install and forget part that never needs adjustment.
In warm southern states like CA TX and FL where it rarely gets cold you can go with the regular Iso Thermal. In the rare event you need to drive in really cold weather or you are driving to the ski slopes you can simply turn the Iso Thermal Coolant Control Valve (CCV) to the on position for the trip and you are good to go.
Now it is possible to use the regular Iso Thermal in states like IL, NY and AK too, but then you will need to remember to turn the CCV to the on position every cold season and then turn it off in the warm season. This is why I recommend the Copper Iso Thermal in northern states. There is nothing to forget or adjust.
