Default Popcharger

ok guys- i feel like an idiot asking this, but what exactly is a popcharger?

I even asked my buddy who drives a cobra, and my other who drives a vette, and neither knew... which is weird, bc they know about everything in regards to cars...

i have a feeling this will generate some quick responses, so please enlighten me fellow Z owners...

Its justs pretty much just a filter. Have you ever seen a CAI like an AEM of Injen?... the cone at the end, that's pretty much what the Popcharger looks like.

Just installed mine this past weekend. Hot damn that thing just roars!!!

5 hp if that. It's more for the sound, which is indeed definitely worth the 100 bucks.

Here is a link to the best price on the pop charger. Just bought one for my '06 and it arrived and was installed in less than 30 minutes. It makes the car growl and sounds much louder. I have noticed that the car charges up faster to redline and it seems to have lost some bottom end but gained mid to upper rpm . Also remember to disconnect the negative battery cable before the install and reconnect when done. This should allow the cpu to recalibrate itself to accomodate the extra airflow.

$100? Why is it so cheap? My FIPK on my Jeep set me back around $250 as i recall. Is it poorly made or something? And is there a K&N intake on the market? actually got it http://shop.knfilters.com/KNShop/Pro...px?pid=63-6013 price is $303
