You might need to look into a different type of resonator.
How does it sound?

Im loading a idle clip up now. Im going to wait a few days before i do a WOT video cause i want it to break in properly before i rip on it. I hit 5k RPM today at WOT and jesus it sounds insane. Reminds me of either tubular exhaust on a ferrari.. or a heavily modified STi...

Clips not coming out right...its too deep of an exhaust to be captured near by.. You can hear a lot of distortion. I'm going to have to do far better clips later on. Loading clip now to streetfire- teaser

better for fitment...working out little issues here and there

plus it makes no difference other than the way it will look

The clamps are NOT like borlas..they're higher quality. I can tell you i dont know how it would leak. You would have to have serious flow problems for that thing to leak. It fits in like a glove and then a 6 inch long U clamp squeezes both ends together.

Im editing the video i took last night now. Lemme finish it and then post it on Streetfire. Hoepfully this is higher quality .
The 4' exhaust tips are pretty..i can see why some would like them larger, but i dont know how they'd fit. Im barely clearing the muffler w/ room for resonation and vibrations.

All in all, great success for scott. Scotts done it again! Last time he found the cure for the headlift, and now the cure for the puzzy exhaust systems on the market.

Yeha.. start from the front and put the parts together but dont tighten everything. Line everything up and tighten after everything is in place. Even when the bolts arent tight, it'll be tight because of the rigid X pipe. You need 3mm atleast of clearence from bumper.

if you got the quiet version (w/ the standard shaped resonators, not the bullet shaped ones), then you should line up the resonators at an angle as to get most clearance from the driveshaft... It should all fit like a glove.

But more of a chance that you get an exhaust leak, and easier to get a rattle (which are a pain in the a$$ to track down.)

you will not get an exhaust leak. the clamps we use are 3" wide polished stainless. they fit over the slip joint and actually stretch and conform to the shape or the joint. they are actually designed to be used to butt 2 tubes together and hold strong. the slip joint just makes it stronger.
i have reused my clamps about 10-15 times now and they are still working perfect! again, we made the system like this on purpose.
now if someone wants to weld the system up on their own, just let me know and i will subtract the price of the band clamps, simple enough! lol
