Nismo V2 cold air and Kinetix v+ plenum

I'm thinking about upgrading my current JWT pop charger to a nismo v2 cold air intake along with kinetix v+ plenum. I've heard a few members here said that the car actually lost power in conjunction with the Nismo. Is that true? Why is that? Just need some feedback before i purchase the intake. thanks..

i think that line of thinking comes from the idea that a long tube CAI creates more air turbulence going into the plenum and that either hurts gains or even makes you loose a little HP.
i had a nismo CAI and a 5/16 plenum spacer. it felt good but i have to honestly say while autoXing i noticed it would take the car a little longer to get back up to high RPMs after slowing down for a cone. basically i noticed 'slightly slower throttle response.
i ordered a oiled nismo sports drop in filter and bought a 2006 air box with the velocity stack. i have to say i have a quicker throttle response with this set up than the CAI
just my opinion

yeah i wouldnt describe it as powerloss under normal driving conditions.
i only noticed it autoXing because i keep the car in 2nd and when i braked hard for a cone and got back on the gas i felt it took longer for the RPMS to get above 4K aftre pushing the hgas pedal down
ive done an even since then with the nismo drop in and i personally ive noticed the lag disappear.
but i will say under normal street driving i didnt notice any negative effect of the CAI and plenum.
alot of this got contraversey started becasue of dyno results from members, im not sure how many acutally reported "feeling" a loss.

I just tested this today.. driving at around 85mph in neutral and it did not stall with Nismo CAI V3 and Kinetix V+.
