Revup MREV+ vs MREV2: Dynos Inside (both with 5/16th spacer)
EDIT: This is a REVUP
I decided to see if the MREV2 did indeed show an improvement over the MREV+ that I had installed.
The MREV2 arrived from Tony well packaged and I noticed additional machining over the MREV+.
I did have some aluminum dust from machining which I cleaned off using soap/water and drying immediately.
The swap was performed on the dyno per Tony's request and the engine temps were kept the same.
After doing the swap around 5 times, I had no trouble exchanging the lower plenum.
I did a total of 6 runs, 3 before, 3 after, with an ECU reset (pedal method) before the 1st 3, and the last 3.
I would like to mention that the run was done until the engine hit the rev-limiter so the last 500rpm or so drop off is really outside the normal operating RPMs.
In terms of the "Butt Dyno" I do see improvement around the midrange-topend.
It pulls to the top harder than before. I highly recommned this upgrade to anyone looking for more NA power.
P.S. Yes I know one of the plenum spacers was not installed when taking the picture.

Hmmm ... now I need to figure out if it's worth the money to send in my MREV+ for 5 hp.

I'd say go with something else... that's just me though...you've already spent the money on the plenum, now move on.

I guess that would be too much hassle for me, but we're not the same person.
