When I looked into doing that (before going FI) there seemed to be a good amount of positive feedback about it on various forums.

their dyno numbers look pretty impressive although not specific for the z. i am concerned about the relocation, or replacement of the MAF sensor. i am hoping to find some more feedback on this product before buying.

with a well constructed intake inlet going from the intake to the front of the car i think this would produce some good gains.

The Maf sensor stays in the same place, it just bolts up to the CDA air box (similar to bolting the maf to the JWT pop charger) It is a very unusual designed intake system, we have 1 here for for product review but we dont know what the actual gains really are.

The gains can't be much more than what's available already and it looks like a coffee can. I wouldn't want coffee can under my hood.

if you go to their website you will discover that the CDA intakes are made for ferraris, bmw's, porches, and other high performance cars so there must be a reason. i don't think it looks that bad really on the z anyways. i wouldn't buy something that looks good and doesn't perform but visa versa. i am really curious to see what this intake can do...thanks for the input so far

i cant really see how one can inprove the performance of the intake thats alread out? I mean the maf sensor is still in the same oem location all that is added is probabaly more cold air insulant and the piping diameter looks to be oem but to be honest, it may give you 1-2hp gain but definitly not worth the price unless your after the bling factor.

i am skeptical too...but i have not seen much info on this intake. their reputation in the racing industry is pretty good...but i don't know how good this would work on the z since we all know how many intakes have failed on our cars.

mynismo....any feedback since you have one in your possession?

Road Warrior, no need to purchase this intake, we will give it to you on a sponsorship basis. Shoot me a PM and we can go over the details.
