I have been contemplating test pipes or high flow cats for a while now. I heard all the pros and cons for both and finally decided to go with Ultimate Racing tp's. They main reason I chose this brand is because they advertise that their tp's will not trigger a CEL. Can I get some false advertising with a side of BS! My CEL came on an hour after installation. I had four codes: two 0420 and two 0430 (all stated catalytic emissions below normal.) The pipes have also depleted my gas milage. Before, I was getting about 400 miles on a tank highway and city with a little punching the gas from time to time. Now it is around 330 miles highway/city with no excessive speed. I just wanted to let you guys know before you make the same mistake I did and purchase Ultimate Racing's Test Pipes.
I am surprised that any manufacture would guarantee that any test pipes are compatible with all emission control systems. Sort of like guaranteeing that high-flow catalytic converters will pass all emissions tests.

Not to rub it in but, they're called test pipes for a reason
and this was an expensive test.

Cat's are on there for a reason (we all need to breath) and if it's a daily driver you should keep the cat's. Go HFC's but go cat's. UR HFC's will not throw a CEL (I know 'cause I have them on a 06 Z) and they will sound nice and keep emissions under control.
