Default Gruppe-s/Helix y-Pipe FAIL!!!!

Ok so as many know i've gone through numerous setups in terms of exhausts and such.

Ok so long story short.
Their Y-Pipe had cracked on me.
I sent it back to gruppe-s mind you i live like 10-15 minutes away from them.

They said they would weld it.

i later got a call saying they couldn't weld it so they were going to replace it.

Now its been approx 4-5 months since i've dropped it off

I've called numerous times as well as even tried to visit them.

They are ignoring my call and when i do go there they say the guy that i have to speak w/ is not there.

So any idea's on what i should do.

After this fiasco i sold my Helix Exhaust as well as my Helix Test PIpes.

I've soon switched to espelir and haven't had any issues at all.

So Gary.. If you are there.. i want to know where my y-pipe is.
or give me a refund.. Plain as day

Sorry for the rant.

Just be careful of cheap parts =)

I was thinking about getting the Helix exhaust but decide not to because i didn't want to take a risk at some knockoff brand. Thank goodness i didn't. I acutally had a co-worker who knew someone from gruppe-s. He was some cocky SOB lets just put it this way. Thinks his WRX is the **** just because he had an aftermarket turbo in that junk. He actually told my co-worker to tell me that if i ever wanted to make my car faster, give him a call. LOL, yeah right....

Crap...i just bought some cusco sway bars from them. They said it was back ordered for 4-6 weeks. They gave me a slight discount since i would have to wait. They said they would charge my CC first. Is that normal or should i ask for a refund?

(sorry, not trying to streal thread)

Hi,

I'm sorry for your bad experience. The Y-pipe was contracted from the same factory that is now making stuff for a few new lines being introduced by other vendors. I'm don't remember speaking with you but I'm not sure how you are being ignored? We have a full staff here, much more than 95% of the performance shops in the bay area and assist every single one of our customers to the best of our ability. That said please contact me personally regarding your specific problem, I will get the issue resolved for you. Thanks,

Gary
