i got lazy and didn't clean it for more than 10k miles, so last weekend i felt a sense of urgency and took it out for a deep clean...after it's all done i took it for a wot drive and the car just feels a lil faster on take off and sounds more meaner along with my test pipes and nismo exhaust.....maybe this is just my butt dyno at works again

 

Cleaning the filter does wonders for your car if it's dirty. Your butt dyno is accurate!

I love the butt dyno! It works everytime...the best is when you are somewhere and you go home at night and it's cooler and your car feels like it's supercharged all of a sudden, I love that, ha ha ha!

 

What kind of test pipe do you have?because i've the nismo exhaust too,but dun know if i should go with the HFC or TP? What do you think?

cold air does make the car go faster... feels like a supercharger at WOT... ok maybe more like a turbonator or tornado...

but yah all jokes aside, dubzdiggler i know how you feel. in the winter on the open freeway it seems like the car has some kind of FI.

 

I know the feeling as well. On extremely cold mornings I thought my car had taken steriods or something and was on roid rage, I'd think to myself this things a beast!!!!

 

Eh... definitely not supercharger like, but cold outside air = butt dyno pleasure

 

i went with top speed tps for around $110 from performance nissan cos hfc is too pricey for me. if u got the $ and is worried about popo then go with hfc plus u don't have to worry about passing smogs

 

i ordered the k&n filter charger cleaner from courtseynissan.com and they got step to step instructions that's simple and easy to follow. it jus takes awhile for it to dry completely

Get a turbonator and be done with it.

I just cleaned my dirty a$$ pop charger today. Im going to the dyno today to finish with my nitrous dyno I will let you know the before and after dynos (without the nitrous) on the cleaned and un-cleaned pop charger for ****s and giggles!

 

come to think of it I should clean my poopcharger

 

I have 15k on mine and have k$n filter cleaner kit sitting around. The dust on it is a filter in itself.
