hahaha, when i first built mine and went out on a drive, i thought i broke something when they opened, lol. i run a manual boost controller though, so they were starting to open before i was at set boost though. since they mostly point down at the ground, it reflects right back up into the car when they open. for me, it just makes me push my foot further to the floor to turn the situation into complete road warrior-ness.
