Do u need to take the engin off for headers mounting??

Default Do u need to take the engin off for headers mounting??

guys a friend of mine is taking my headers and I told him it takes a day or so coz he need to get the engin out and install it, well at least thats what i did in my friends work shop.
Now his friend who will be installing it for him says no need to take the engin.

Can any 1 confirm if u need or not need to take it off for headers installation.

No, you don't need to remove the engine.

There was a post just 3 days ago that covered that question completely----NO !!!!!!!---As I said in there --I have header installs down to 2 hrs. As do others

ok thanx guys for the help and I know now that who ever installed mine the 1st time was too smart, so he took the engin off and charged me for it ow well we all learn a new thing every day thank u all for ur help and all the best for u all and regards....

Using the word "off" instead of "out" made my mind think the question was "Do u need to turn the engine off for headers mounting?? I was like ohh man... Please film who ever is trying to change the headers with the motor running!! We'd have a possible Darwin Award nomination.

removing the engine makes installing the big crawford headers easier, but it can be done without removing it. For normal headers, no need to remove the engine
