I have the 1st gen with the split-leg mufflers. No problems with the exhaust, very high quality to me. The only issue was the seam where the pipe exits the resonator cracked after I got rear-ended but the muffler shop welded that right up and it's as good as new.

The only reason I might consider a new exhaust is to get straight tips. The angled mufflers look a little 'young' for my tastes. But I would probably go with a newer Injen SES. (I wonder if I can just get 2 of the newer mufflers from Injen and bolt them onto the existing cat-back I have on there now......hmmmmmm)
