Default nismo intake

Hi, I currently have nismo cold air intake I'm getting rid of it due to too much floods. I was thinking about maybe getting a pop charger, and just wondering if there is any sound changes from having a pop charger in combo with exhaust. I currently have HKS Ti-tip exhaust. Thanks

POP charger will feel like it makes better power anyways.....I had the pop charger on for a while, then put on a nismo CAI, and didn't like it as much so I swapped back to the POP charger.

The Nismo has a bypass valve.....so flooding shouldn't be a problem.

The popcharger is nice and loud, gives your engine a nice growl.

As mentioned, intake mods DO NOT change exhaust sound, that's just silly.

Question

Too many floods? Just out of curiosity how deep is the water that you drive through?

Actually, it's been flooding in some places in Houston with too much rain recently. I work at Houston Med center, and this place floods easily. I really don't know how deep the water has to be for the water to go in to an engine even with the bypass, but the water was pretty close to where the intake's filter was. I also knew a guy whos car was damaged because I guess his car was parked during a heavy rain, and he didn't know that the intake was under some water. As soon as he turned the engine on, all the water left in the filter got sucked up in to the engine.
