haha. finally had a day to get it on. A z member really helped me (mostly did it) Andrew, abishop. thanks! again for all your help.

whoever hasnt gotten this mod. should def. get it. it got so much more torque and a response to it. its a blast to drive now, cant wait to see the huge diff the TN kit will make my car.

On a more serious note I raced (dragstrip) against one of our members (oasis) with the rev-up motor and your mods. I would do fine against oasis until fourth gear - then he was gone.

Yes, the revup is definitely faster on the strip.

Probably has a lot to do with the difference in cam grinds and the variable exhaust timing

the tall aps plenum is pretty much just like a spacer, i wish i had the cash to get the mrev2...im savin up tho!

not for your 06 . mrev2 + spacer it's the best mod for n/a and you really could tell the different .

I know this has been covered so many times but I keep getting mixed responses, I know the 5/16 spacer is good for both but is the mrev2 with the spacer the optimal setup for the 287 hp?

Yes, for the 287 engine it is, but depending on where your A/F ratio is starting from, it may or may not run lean.

So it is best to know what your A/F ratio is before starting. If your A/F is at or below 13 its good to go. Otherwise the best results can be made with a tune to increase the fuel flow rate to compensate for the additional air flow.
