Default Just added test pipes/exhaust

I think I'm finally done modding the Z. On the advice of (Abishop) I just added an intensepower resonated test pipes w/the non-fouler cell fix(so far so good!) and the Greddy Evo2 exhaust.

Addition to the above I have the technosquare reflash ecu, injen cai and the 5/16 spacer. I am very pleased with the overall results, and can't believe how much faster the car is from stock since its still N/A.

My advise for members wanting to mod, if I knew then what I know now.

1. I think an aftermarket intake is a waste of money performance wise, stick with the factory box and throw in a K&N. Is a looks only item.
2. The 5/16 spacer has to be the best mod for the money, I love it.
3. The TS ecu is a must I think for anybody going past a K&N airfilter. The stock ECU will just pull your timing and your money will be wasted. Luckly I live 20min from TS. Plus the increase redline on the VQDE is a major difference.
4. Resonated test pipes are a great mod if you can deal with the slight rasp and incressed noise from an aftermarket exhaust. I actually dont mind the smell it emits, sometimes I even like it

5. The EVO2 exhaust I think is the best choice if your using test pipes because it keeps the noise down the best, and I love the deep sound. I think there might be a resonator in the X-pipe portion of this system and is why it worksgood with test pipes;.

I do have my car lowered with Eiback sportlines/camber kits/on stock G35 forged 19'-less rotating mass is always better.

By the way I choose Contental contisport3 because of low tire weight something you might want to consider.

Happy motoring

Congrats! Looks like you've been researching.
FYI: Intense has the Hotchkis TVS kit (spring & sways) for $399 and Hotchkis has a $50 rebate on the kit. $349 for a complete suspention upgrade you can't beat it!

i put on a popcharger, 1 month later it was off and sold. i went back to my stock '05 box and K&N filter. Sadly i will probably get a Stillen Airbox to try it out.
