greddy evo 2 exhaust with tp question
hey everyone, i'm getting the evo 2 exhaust installed in my 06 base on monday and was wondering, which resonated or non-resonated test pipes would work well with the exhaust and not give me a tremendous head ache. Any suggestions, oh and sorry if this is a repost...i searched and couldn't find an answer. Oh and i think i'm getting a pretty good price for it, $1068 installed.
Also, my dad has an 05 base and i was wondering if there were any beneficial changes made to the 06 model's exhaust so i'll just have it installed in his car? I'm assuming there will be no difference, except my exhaust only has 4k miles and his has 28k. What you guys think?

When I put on the resonated TP on my Greddy exhaust you couldn't really here it until you really opened it up, but not to much of a change so far as in headache terms. Now all TP work well, for it is helping the system flow better.
I'll be selling my Kinetix resonated TP in a month, for I'm going FI. If you might be interested. Will be great price too.
Now when I installed headers it really opened up. But that's more to my liken.

thanks for the info...oh and I was wondering if the engine would run too lean with the following mods: jwt popcharger, evo 2 exhaust (going to be installed monday) , future mods: resonated test pipes, mrev2 + 5/16spacer? Also is the isothermal kit from motordrome worth the $300?

You'll defiantly be safe at that setup. Even after installing the TP and the spacer. If you go so far as headers then you'll defiantly need some type of engine management. But it's always nice to dyno to see where your at. Every engine is different.
