but a G intake pipe is smaller than a Z, that is why a lot of people that own the G get a Z intake tube. plus if you had the right connectors, this would matter (rubber hose connectors stretch). i am sure that JWT will come out with something soon for all of those 07 people. and like your pics show, there is no separate MAF (it is integrated) so yes, JWT or another company will have to figure out something since the current JWT popcharger will not work.

Wow, yeah that MAF sensor location is definitely not aftermarket-friendly.

actually if you think about it's not that bad -- all the aftermarket has to do is build a housing for the MAF sensor....

look at the injen in my FX35... the stock MAF sensor was connected to a plastic tubing but you have to take it and just mount it into the pipe. maybe it could work....

+1 this isn't that big of a deal at all. I wouldn't sweat it. it gives manufacturer a chance to design better intakes, imo. Imaging 2 airducts in the front bumper? hmm.. symmetrical design of the intake would give vented, aftermarket hoods more functionality.

I just picked up an 07 z too.was thinking that you could just throw 2 CAI or popchargers on the dual intakes...but are they designed for that?

If not how long will i have to wait for intakes.lol

Just wait or even call JWT for the scoops and how long the wait will be.

The maf location is not going to be a problem for intake manufacturers at all. It has been done many many times already, and da mayor has shown us his. What will be true is the overall cost of the intakes for the Z. I guess we are going to have to wait and see.

Yeah I guess actually that shouldn't be a big deal, just have to wait for the manufacturers to get the new parts out. Does anyone know if the exhaust on the 07's is the same on 03-06?

from my knowledge i don't think it's the same... they made the stock exhaust on the '07 G sedan nearly perfectly symmetrical

The thing with JWT, is they like to sell their stuff as C.A.R.B legal. Like their turbos, they will drag their feet on release until they have that approval. that's a good thing for us in Calif the way cops are about modified cars. I'll call JWT today and see if we can get an ETA.

I am looking forward to reading about all the modding of the 07's in the near future, and what companies are going to make parts first. Seems like a nice platform. Isnt the 08 Z going to be redesigned?

To my knowledge, the intake tubes are the same diameter. The g tubes just have extra baffling to reduce induction noise.

Just got off the phone with JWT, seems there is no ETA from them at this time. I did offer to send them an 07 Z to help speed things up. They said they would get back to me on the offer. Let you know if I hear anything else. Jeff

Well how you fix it is with a hack saw. You just saw the plastic tube off of the airbox, and then clamp a filter on it. Get one of those 25$ autozone air filters, oil it with some K&N red oil, turn it over so you cant see the cheapo name on it and it looks like its a high dollar aftermarket air intake..

Dont do it, It wont work.
There is not an intake system ready for the 2007 350z yet.
There is a sensor in the air box, There will have to be a casting made to accompany the JWT pop charger. It's gonna be awile, before anybody comes out with a dual intake system for 2007 model.
As far as I know, Nobody is even in production mode for one either.
(rumour AEM rumour).

Come on people!!!... we have guys on this forum that can replace EVERY led in the dash and we can't figure out that all you would need is an adapter!!! Something that has the correct diameters for both sides should be a snap!! Could be made out of aluminum or maybe C/F?? What do you think??
