Default Twin Pop Chargers

Sorry if this is stupid or previously addressed. Tomorrow I pick up my new 2007 San Marino Blue Enthusiast. I am saying goodbye to my '04 Base. I'm wondering if it is safe to put 2 JWT Pop Chargers on the brand new car? I have the JWT on my '04 and have loved it. Since the new car is dual-intake, I guess I need two. But I don't know if this is okay for a brand new car (ie. not broken in yet).

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't see why it wouldn't be unless there is something screwy with the ECU.

wont be a problem... as long as you break in the car like a usual new car.

lawl. I put my popcharger on when i had 100 miles on the car. I let the popcharger break my car in

Im not sure if the current popcharger would work on the new 07Z. You should wait to see if JWT would release a 07Z specific kit. Also notice that if your intake has a velocity stack, the popcharger would be pretty useless. Just get a K&N drop in.

I'm sure it won't take too much to make them work if they don't bolt right on.

I'm positive one of the shops on here said the 07's have the MAF built into the air boxes so a pop charger won't work.

popcharger must work somehow.. I think the valve opening might be smaller than the previous years, but just duct tape it on their or something!![/

If you end up bolting two popchargers on, you would only be able to use one of the heat shields obviously. That and you would have to figure out a way to support the passenger side popcharger, keep it from just hanging around.

Someone needs to be the ginea pig and just try it!

This is a good idea, wait a few months if that long. Someone will have it out. I'm sure it most likely would'nt hurt but when it is avail. it will be made to fit specific.

I don't know what the intake tubes are like on the 07 z, but the tube diameter on the 07 sedan is smaller than previous years.

the pipe diameters are smaller on the 07 than the previous models so it won't work. ill snap pics later of close ups from the engine bay of a 07 G sedan

I know the previous Z-car had a pretty cool intake setup. I'm not sure if anyone has seen it but.. The two intakes both draw air from the same filter, and the filter is located ahead of the radiator, out of the engine bay. Maybe someone will make one like it for the '07+ 350z's.

I imagine JWT is working day and night 24/7 to get this made.

notice the MAF is connected to the air box.... you'd have to make the tubing to mount the MAF sensor into it... aftermarket assistance is needed!
