I just got off the phone with Mr A this morning and we discussed my invoice. We have been clearing this up. He informed me that there was a restocking fee on some merchandise we originally were going to put on the car that we ended up not doing and going a different way. We are currently discussing the facts, but I just wanted to clear up that where the extra money went that I was unaware of. But Mr A is working with me on this and the money was not stolen from me.

It is funny how a simple post without all of the facts can snowball into non-stop misinformation.

yeah, sorry to everyone for the misunderstanding. I didn't know. I didn't realize there was a 1500 restocking fee for the turbo that we didn't end up using. I did not intend to snowball this. We just discussed and cleared it up this morning on the phone.

30% restock fee. I don't know if that is industry standard or not. Im not going to argue, I have said many times before that im not very familiar with this stuff so I don't really have an opinion.

Now we're gonna have 17 pages MORE of why he got robbed on re-stocking fees!!!

Poor guy, every time he gives an explanation everyone says how screwed he's getting...

I hope it all ends soon and everyone is happy. This is like the Fast Intentions sedan exhaust thread on driver... Every time it seems like it's concluding - BAM something swings the door back open

since you dont know...normal is 15%. Some shops wont even charge it tho if you end up spending that credit on other things.

knowing MrA he doesnt do anything till he gets your actual car. so did he actually order the kit for you?

I know he had the kit because it was a used greddy kit he pulled off another car when they upgraded to the JWT kit.
