Man I love the way my car sounds now with this installed.
Only took about an hour, very simple install to do as long as you have the tools. I spent most of the time trying to figure out how the heat shield mounts. I ended up not drilling into the snorkel since it seems kind of pointless. Just as an extra precaution I looped a zip tie through one of the holes.
Engine growl sounds deeper and you can hear it at low rpm even in 6th gear.
RPMS seem to spike slightly quicker or maybe its me pressing harder on the gas so I can hear the sweet growl of the engine.
This is my first mod and I am happy with the results.

is there a reason why the rubber molding that mounts on the top portion of the heat shield is supposed to flare out towards the engine...? Originally I had this padding the inside of the heat shield between the air filter but then I saw pics of it on the internet flaring out so I adjusted it.

I loved mine when it was my only mod. Now it adds to the bunch that i have. I never regretted this mod unlike one of mine (pit ss just because i need something different). The JWT popcharger's whistle is the best!!!

My pop charger arrived today and even though it was lightly raining I could not wait. I have to say it is quite brutal looking and the hissing sound is very rewarding. Total time to install was less than 30 minutes. It took longer to shave my rear wiper! I avoided using the 2 screws into the snorkel. Does not seem to matter though with the tight fit. I might use a zip tie at some point but for now it seems solid.

The Pop Charger is a ricer mod, which is why I took mine out.
Then put it back on![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The PC with stock exhaust sounds better than when I had only my Nismo cat back with the stock filter. In other words the PC'r made a bigger noise diff than the exhaust did by itself.
edit:
That still doesn't make sense. I'm too lazy to reword it.
