PS.
A good friend of mine in this thread introduce me to ARC parts and since that day I have been buying everything that they make with out having to replace ARC parts with something else. I tried to save money and bought parts that did not work well. Ended up going through the trouble of installing the part, then taking it out, re-selling it for less and in the long run bought the part that I should have bought even though it was expensive. I ended up paying more in the long run.

If you can by a full titanium JIC exhaust for like $1400, then twice that plus a little more (for the extra length to the cats) should be enough to cover everything. So an MSRP of around $3200-3400 sounds realistic.

I hate to say it, but a lot of JDM stuff is overpriced simply becuase it is Japanese. They have a little different view of capitalism there. Just like CDs and DVDs cost $40 or $50 for no reason other than companies have a closed market and force people to pay their prices by blocking competitors.

I want the JIC exhaust myself, w/ the amuse Ti front pipe. One day, I'll be able to afford it lol. I figure though, with that setup I can drop 40 lbs easy.. Ahh..all the pipedreams.
Make sure you get the videos! Also I'd like to get pictures of those welds when you get the exhaust. Ti is very hard to weld, and its easy to see visually if its a bad weld. It should look like a blob of mercury, very clear, very shiny. If theres ANY caking, cracking, discoloration or a look of circular blobbing (like a regular machined tig weld) then I'd definately get it warranted. Once Ti cracks, GOOD luck trying to find someone to repair it locally. You'd need an industrial welder lol.

BTW: I have always been in the same situation with buying parts that don't suit me well. Since then, I havnt really bought anything that hasnt been thoughroughly (SP!!!) tested.. Ive gone thru about 5 exhausts lol. A lot of the times, its not hte part thats at fault, but I just have a high tolerence for ..sport cars?? I like VERY stiff rides, LOUD exhausts and everything extreme, lightest wheels, ect... I know what I like now, so I stopped listening to the general public about car parts.

Yes, but paying for the most expensive part does not mean it is the best.

are there any bends or is it all cut and welds like the piping leading to the tips? you wanna know where some of the extra price comes from? that cannot be done by a machine, it had to be by hand.

I love that style. Congrats Cesare! it'll sound great I am sure

I have the Twin Turbos

I agree it is $$$$$$$$$ and I could use the money as a down payment for my next project when it comes out THE GT-R I am going to keep the 350ZR and the GT-R, but the ZR will be completed with all the ARC parts available for it. Here more parts that just arrived at my door for the ZR.

Take care

I know or I could buy a used Gallardo on Ebay

Cesar

PS.

Actually, Power Enterprise was going to install the PE TT for me at no charge. I did not have the time to send the car on time for the engineer that flew from Japan to install the PE TT.

Cesar, have you checked to see if the PE FMIC will clear the ARC oil cooler?

No yet, I know it fit the APS cooler. The PE is a little smaller so I am hopping it will work with out any modification to the brackets.
