Default JWT Currently developing Popchargers/Cams for 2007 Z!

Here is the email I received from Jim Wolf Technology regarding popcharger and cams for 2007!

Hi,
We are currently working on development of a Pop Charger system for the twin throttle 2007 models and cam development is also in the works. This might be a few months on both parts.

Best regards,
Ben Pila (Technical and Sales Support)

... I guess you guys didn't notice the post where Sharif pulled the filters out from a 2007 and it didn't gain anything on the dyno.. unless the pop chargers will flow better than having no filter...? lol?

I'd say you wouldn't gain anything..

I got the same response from Dreamworks last week.. No just kidding, its good to see JWT is on top of their game..I dont think the mods will be to different for the 2007, and will offer greater HP gains.

the almighty popcharger is good for at least 58 rwhp gains over the entire powerband...second only to the turbonator at 94000 rwhp

So your saying that since the filter less stock air box didn't show any gain, that an aftermarket intake wouldn't either??? There are many factors that contribute to an intake making any gains or not..It's not just how the filter flows... I guess we should not buy intakes based on your opinion, right? I think it would look cool and sound great non-the-less. I could care less if it gained anything...Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I guess your both right...Why would anyone want to mod a car in the first place, right???Why would anyone want to join a forum like this one and learn and talk about certain things about cars???I guess we all should thank god that certain people make stupid, useless post, that has nothing to do with the topic at hand, because without these kind of post, what else would we learn and talk about...Some people like to mod, some people don't...That's all there is to it...Will the Pop chargers add any gains when released??? I don't think anyone can answer that yet, but I bet most of the people on these forums will buy the intakes simply because modding a car is like a hobby and they enjoy it......Is it alright with you guys if we buy the intakes??? Would that make people with the 07's "ricers" if they don't show any gains???

I thought it was the venturi(sp) ring in the Pop Charger system that helps with the HP gains rather than the filter itself.

Flow through the filter does make a difference, but the restriction of the filter itself might negate any gains you'd get from it. If no filter doesn't give you more power, adding a filter probably won't net you anything.

Slow your roll new guy. He was simply pointing out that something had been tried while a 2007 Z was on a dyno in regards to the air intake system and that it had netted no gains. If and when JWT releases the Popchargers for the 07, you can buy them to your hearts desire, even if they gain 1whp.

Uhhh, yeah that is what I said in the previous post It doesn't matter to me whether they gain anything or not...M point was about the stupid comments posted that had nothing to do with the topic...I came from s2ki.com so I guess I'm not really used to these kind of post...Also, just because I don't post ***** every thread doesn't mean I can't speak my opinion...Right? I mean, there was stupid comments posted but I guess since those guys have more post under the belt, it makes it ok to say anything whether or not it has anything to do to help the topic..Maybe I should shut up....

I don't think a decent company, such as reputable as JWT, will invest in a product which will net no positive gains and then sell them. It makes no sense whatsoever.
