Guys, this will be a newbie question..I did some research and couldnt find exact answer...I want to know if its a good idea to put both MREV2 and 5/16 ISO plenum spacer for my 05. My car is not the 35th version..so I have the non-rev up engine..the one has 287hp. Its also an auto. I heard some spacer will make the hood rub..Any detail info? I also want to know the gain in whp if I put both on..Thanks in advance folks!

I am not sure if I got it right in here, so for my "non-revup" engine, I should go with MREV2 first and it wont harm the top end hp gain. The spacer will help but little gain only and I should not only install the spacer as this wont make a noticeable gain in hp for nonrevup engine? Am I correct? So I should go with only MREV2 if I only want to spend around 500$. Will the sound of the engine change with the Mrev2? Any DIY picture of this installation? So this mod should go first than the header or test pipe? I already got the nismo exhaust..wanna make sure the next mod is the biggest band for the buck.

 

For the biggest "bang for the buck" on the non-revup engine, I recommend the spacer.

 

No. The MREV2 lower plenum makes more power on the Rev-Up. You are better off getting the spacer first, MREV2 later.

Thanks for the info, so which spacer will be able to fit will the stock strut? I dont want to put hood spacer or anything like that...
