07 Z with Nismo seems louder

I have a wall mounted compressor at work =). Own a junkyard here in MD! Very iffy about the springs im goin to use. Eibach pro kit. Hopefully It stays around 1" and not too much more. Hoping the new 07 struts and shocks can do better then the older ones.

No $hit, I ALWAYS dyno @ SRT, Mo is the man. Who is your friend Kellen? Ive dyno'd 5 sdeperate times, stock, bolt-ons, bolt-ons w/tune, ST and now I need to return for the updated TT dyno. BTW I always dyno in 5th as it produces way higher numbers (correct 1:1) for some odd reason on my car, they dont give me crap about taking the car to 150mph on the dyno....

Yea Mo is the man but my friend addae just started working there not to long ago. But this will be my 3rd time dynoing a car there from MO. Think he went on vacation this week so they said they cannot dyno this weekend. My 06 dynoed 245hp/229tq stock there in 5th gear (uncorrected) Guess thats my baseline on how much more of an imporvement the 07 is.
Going to do at least 1 run in 4th and 1 in 5th. Whichever puts out higher I will redyno it in that gear.

The 07 exhaust in itself seems really loud compared to my 287. I think the gains with the whole y-pipe set up should prove worthwhile.

Regarding the 5th gear dynos, what about the factory speed limiter? Just don't worry about the last few rpms? When dynoing, I was thinking it'd be a few hundred rpms, but looking at it now, I guess it's only what, like 50-100 rpms.

What sort of differences did you see between the two gears on the 07s?

FWIW, I did 269rwhp/234ft.lbs in 4th gear on a dynojet.

I'm thinking 285-290rwhp shouldn't be a problem at all. I'd really like to see 300rwhp before boost.
