Where did you buy your C/F Gruppe M intake?
To make a long story short;
Went back and forth between getting the JWT Popcharger and the NISMO CAI. Ended up buying the Nismo CAI...now I've changed my mind.
Where did you get your Gruppe-M C/F intake and how much did it cost?
Thanks.

Wonder if any of the sponsors carry it?
Could care less about the performance, as the gains are probably the same anyways. Exclusivity is key.
Nismo < Gruppe-M C/F

I like the idea b/c the filter is completely closed up...so you only get air from outside of the engine bay...well except for maybe a little from the extra hole in the filter box.
if someone wants to start a fund and pay for the dyno time i will throw my pop charger on and dyno it and then the gruppe-m on and re-dyno. I sometimes run the pop charger with the gruppe-m scoop, i think that is a good combo, especially when you are moving.
Edit: You know what...if i didn't have to drive my car in the rain i could buy a bad a$$ computer fan or something and put it in the scoop and that would really get air moving in there, I'm not sure if it is a real efficient design since the inlet is on the side of the scoop...i don't think it really gets a lot of air being forced in...i would rather have a more direct path into the opening...like running a varis inlet with a hose to the filter box...i bet that would rock on the highway.

Im gonna build something like that, Ive been drawing it up. Varis intake duct, Somekind of baller looking tubing, make the varis hole bigger, and straight shot. However whenever it rains, the hole will be blocked, and the hose will be removed. Well see how it goes.
There is one that is more expensive, i'm always on the look out for big baller items that are rare...not saying i can afford even 5% of them but still...check this thread out.

Not sure what's so special about that intake. There are companies who have copied that one already for a fraction of the price.
^^^^^^
I'll tell you what is so special about it...to me at least...the probability of seeing it on someone else's car is pretty much ZERO! I'd never buy it at that price but if someone gave me one i would drive around with my hood off for everyone to see, hahahaha. Just kidding.
