seriously dude, try and spell correctly if you are going to insult me.
from you know, hearing my car in person and all that and driving a Z for you know three years or whatever... I can safely say it still sounds like a Z. albeit one with a stupid loud exhuast.
that is what I like about the Vibrants. it retains that purr... I mean you can't hear it right now, cause it is overly loud, but once I get it toned down you should be able to hear the familiar undertone.

All I can say is that it still had that distinct VQ sound, but its hell of a lot louder under heavy throttle. The idle is deeper and little louder, and driving is fun. I mean who wants a quiet sports car?
I'll probably order a set of Berk Tech HFC's later to make it a little louder and replace the crappy OEM cats.

Exhaust is now under major research for re-construction. The Berk Tech Cats changed the flow of the entire exhaust set-up. All the inlet/outlets are off. Now I have to replace the OEM Y-Pipe, Mid-piping, and might redirect the Borla muffler closer to the mid pipe. Now, I have to sit with the exhaust specialist to redesign the whole damn thing.
Vid on hold. lol.

I hate to say it, but if you REALLY want it to sound like his does, you need to get non-resonated test pipes. That will increase the volume, but more importantly it will make the pitch at the top end a bit higher. I might be trying this exhaust setup sometime soon.

That's the problem with the Z. Any additions or alterations to the exhaust system, and it can either make or break the sound. I might have to redesign the whole system tomorrow morning.

EITHER WAY IF YOU DO A CUSTOM SET UP RIGHT YOU WILL SAVE MONEY, AND BE VERY DIFFERENT. THE ONLY THING IS IF IT TAKES AWAY FROM PERFORMANCE AND TORQUE ITS NOT WORTH IT. BUT IT STILL SOUNDS NICE
