Default Crazy Screaming Exhaust - HOW?!

Ok I'm hooked on this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkFFb0i1hz0

Someone said it sounded like it was a Borla cat-back plus dc sport headers. In the owner's other video, he commented that it was not a borla "kit" but a mixture of various borla components plus a cat delete. I messaged him requesting more info a while ago and he never responded.

I just accidentally ordered a Borla True Dual from Concept-Z-Performance yesterday morning before I knew what I really wanted was the Borla catback. I hope they will help me sort that out.

SO, how do you think this guy is getting that sound? Please let me know as I decided not to buy a lotus when I found out my Z could sound like this.

he posted a pic of it. Its two borla universal mufflers goign back to one pipe through the y pipe. It looks very crappy but yeah, the sound is amazing. With the original borla that's made the z, it sounds NOTHING like that. Its a lot deeper.

Filming that sound inside a tunnel made the sound even more drastic than it is.

Are you guys saying that if I ask them to switch it to the Borla cat back, that will be useless to me as well?

Thanks for the diagram! How could I get a system like this done? Is it all borla parts exhaust parts, or do I need to find someone who can make a custom exhaust system for me?

Your pretty much going to have to get an exhaust shop to custom make that for you

Or if you have the metal benders you could do it yourself..it will be a real pain though without a lift to really get in there...

Good luck, let us know if you DO do it
I agree with everyone ina tunnel it is going to sound better

There's also a video of riding inside the car with windows shut. It was amazing. That high note is amplified so much. Every car I've heard with DC headers has more midrange and the upper pitch of the v6 sound is amplified.

Joe, have you started the project yet?

I just ordered a borla universal 3" to dual 2.5" muffler and called an exhaust shop earlier today. They said they can make a custom system for me. From the diagram, do you guys think I need aftermarket y-pipes?
