Injen Track Edition Exhaust on a 2007 Z -video included!-
Alright, i bought an Injen Track edition exhaust today from CarbonLTD and Chuck at showstoppersusa.com.
Want one? He's selling them at a great price here: https://my350z.com/forum/engine/280857-best-deals-injen-track-and-ses-dual-exhaust-systems.html
On the way there, we saw something pretty interesting
Anyway, the box obviously wouldnt fit in the cramped hatch of a Z, so we took the next best thing:
I'm jealous.
My buddy and i dont have any experience at all with any kind of auto work, but we were able to do it in three hours.
The install was pretty simple, but the only thing that was difficult was removing the stock muffler from those DAMN rubber hangars. But after that, everything was very straightforward and mostly painless.
Here is the promised video.

Im pretty happy with my purchase. It exceeded my expectations. I didnt think it would sound this nice. The exhaust is quite loud, and produces a very deep, bassy sound at lower rpm's. When you open the throttle, this deep tone becomes a roaring rumble yet still retains the nice VQ sound.
Im happy with it.
I know i dont have any still pics of the exhaust installed on the Z. I'll take some later and post them up.

Sounds nice man! I'm pretty much decided on the Injen exhaust for mine, but I can't decide between the standard or the Ti tip system. I've got a Daytona Blue and am concerned that the blued tips might look cheesy on a blue Z. I haven't been able to find any pics yet with that combo to help my decision. But I am jealous! Congrats on your new mod!
