Default Pic Request - Inside 2006 OEM Airbox

I have a simple pic request for all of your 2006 owners out there.

I own an 04 and would like to upgrade to the 06 airbox, because of this Venturi Ring or Velocity Stack I keep hearing about.

Can someone take a photo of the inside of their airbox and post it here?

Here is a pics of mine; I removed the filter and took the photo from the square intake "hole"

Thanks everyone, I truly appreciate it.

I'll see if I can get around to it today. No promises, but I'll try.

It's about the same as JWT's, but shorter and in same material as yours.

Thanks... I'm trying to decide between the Popcharger, the 06' airbox and the Stillen Airbox/ intake...

I am sure this is an age old delimma...

I actually didn't know that there was a difference between 03-05 vs. 06 airboxes. I'm not sure what you are looking for but when I returned my car back to stock I used a 06 air box on my 03. Fits perfectly with no issues.

I suggest 06 airbox or Stillen Airbox/intake simply because they all have the Venturi ring and are sealed (Stillen isn't perfectly sealed IIRC, but you put some foam trim in there to seal it perfectly.)

I'm running K&N drop-in with 06 airbox right now. I doubt there's much heatsoak.

Where did you get your '06 air box?

I would like to see a picture of a '06 air box, too. I'd like to see if the '06 G35 Coupe air box is the same.

Sorry for the poor pic quality. Here's the v-stack inside the '06 airbox.

You are great!!! Thank you so much I can certainly see the V-stack.... I will keep my eyes open for a stock box .... I would hate to get a pop-charger and regret it soon afterwards...

Coolness. Glad it helped! I also use an Amsoil dropin. Supposedly it flows and filters better than the K&N dropin I used to have in there.

Nawww, my butt dyno can't detect a few hp one way or the other on a 3000+ pound car. Lol! I was more concerned with the K&N not filtering as well as it should/ could. Amsoil has a great reputation for filters and oils. I pretty much use their products every chance I get - Engine, tranny, diff, oil filter, air filter...

Sorry to bring up an old thread but is that the PN for the Amsoil filter goth? EaA74?
My father is a distributor for Amsoil, but only for getting oil for his company vehicles. Is it cheaper to get it through him, I assume?
