I have the xo2 with helix test pipes(straight pipes). I love it. It is deep at idle but it will get to a higher pitch the throughout the rpms. It's not high pitched like the nismo or turbo xs exhaust.

I have the authentic hks and aps test pipes, it has a very low aggressive tone, and is decently quiet in the lower rpms. Loud on WOT, and no rasp after about 5min of warm up.

I was just getting ready to ask the very same question presented in this post. I have the XO2 and am looking to purchase HFC before a vortech sc install. The problem is I don't know if I could stand my exhaust any louder. I really like the very deep aggressive tone, but it is at the upper limit of what I would ever want. Come on now, I know we've got some XO2 people with some HFCs. Not interested in TPs.

I have heard others mention the real HKS hi-power + fast intentions HFC sound nice, but not too loud. I've never heard an HKS in person so I don't know how loud they are compared to the XO2, but from the sound clips I would say XO2 is louder and deeper at least with stock cats.
