I've been searching the forum for a collection of info for exhaust systems. As most of us know, nismo gives marginal gains and many performance companies give greater gains. I'd like to make this post specific to exhaust systems. I myself am looking for a system with max gain and legal sound. I think noobs like myself and others possibly interested in switching or upgrading might find it helpful. Thank you most wise modifiiers of the Z carriage

when it comes down to exhaust IMO, i would take looks and sound over HP gain, especially when it only comes down to a few HP.

There are a few things to remember int his - there are really 3 top true dual system to choose from. They are all within ~5 HP of each other. Power bands will be a little different as well. Also, other mods on the car will greatly affect overall performance gains/loss of an exhaust system addition. The only real test to consider is a bone stock swap performance gain.

The thing that will ultimately differentiate them from each other - are personal preference items - looks and sound.

In this case - you need to get into a car and listen to an HKS, Stillen and the Fast Intentions systems.

Be sure to look into Greddy as well.
I am a big fan of them and the HKS system personally.
The gains between them will be marginal. I would go with sound as your number one comparo.
