I want to see this "stock engine/stock ecu" run and work... effectlively, and without blowing anything up!

I've read plenty of engine building books in the past, most notable are some of the newer honda ones that discuss this. there's also tons of literature online. I've even come accross the subject (not necessarilly too indepth however) in some F1 and indy sections. There's no book that i know of dedicated to the subject, but check out barnes and noble, and thumb through some of the books there in the auto section, a few neat ones have sections or articles revolving around the subject.

I was only pointing out that this could work with a single throttle cable, as that was a concern noted by someone before me. I was not making any assertations about the feasability of using ITB's with the stock ECU.

Thank you for replying in such a polite fashion. You're obviously much smarter than I am.

Hey guys the kit will be on display at the PRI (performance racing industries) show coming up this thursday, friday and saturday in Orlando, Florida. Anyone going please stop by the Jenvey booth and see my friend Mac as he will be on hand to show them. The base kits are $3000.00 and include manifolds, bodies, air horns, fuel rails, linkage, and tps sensor. These kits are geared toward the guys using a stand alone either for street or the track.
There have been a few ideas on the air box design and it has not been settled on,as we are trying to have one that will work for all applications, for example with or without an airflow meter. We may also have a setup using the factory drive by wire but it will depend upon reliability and cost. I'm sorry for the long delay as I fully expected these to be ready for sale last month at the latest, but with shipping delays and other projects going on at the shop they got put on the back burner for a few weeks. Thanks for your interest in these, I know that they will be worth the wait.

Are the lower manifold castings available seperately? I am not so interested in the ITB's or air horns, but there are a number of interesting manifold designs that could be made with those cast lower runners. They look to provide a straighter shot into the head than the stock lower manifold. If they are available for seperate purchase, in the slim chance that you can order some more to be made, then I would be interested. I can wait a long time for them to be made if it is possible to get these pieces seperately, hell, I've been waiting over a year already for the Cosworth manifold.

I've been reading up on ITB for a while now. Its a big thing with Honda motors, since you can grab one off a GSXR-1000. Anyhow this is going to be the next big thing for our car. If you grabbed the last Import Tuner Mag they have a whole article on it.

1 thing I'm not happy with is changing from Fly By Wire to cable.

I dont agree that itbs are the next big thing for our cars. In terms of hp/cost fi will always be a better option.

Just being picky, but it's Drive-By-Wire. Fly-By-Wire is an aircraft term.

rbfd the french shop made 40whp with a stock motor and a motec stand alone ecu,no other bolt ons. I am trying to get a copy of thedyno sheet and will post it up, but like I said before I would rather post up something that I have seen with my own eyes. I have 10 kits available for sale now as I right this so if anyone on here want s to try them please let me know. Also Resolute I can sell you the manifolds by themselves for $800.00. as for the drive by wire conversion to cable its not really a big deal to do.
