Default I've decided on a set of Berk HFC. Do I get metallic or ceramic?

I've been putting off getting a set of high flow cats for a long time. I've finally decided to give Berk a shot. High flow cats are the last bolt on I can add before I go internal.

Should I go with the standard ceramic cats for $299.00 or the metallic substrate for $399.00? I don't want my exhaust note to be too much louder so I am leaning towards ceramic. Plus I am almost broke so saving a hundred on ceramic sounds good to me. If metallic is worth the extra $100.00 then I will pay it but if it only makes a 1-2 hp difference with NA then I would rather save the extra noise and the $100.00.

Keep in mind that I plan on staying NA and this is my last mod. I already have Osiris and once I add the high flows I will be getting dynoed so Uprev can give me a custom tune.

Based on your requirements, ceramic.

That is what I was thinking. Ceramic should be fine for NA. If I was going to add a turbo kit then metallic would make a lot more sense.

I just ordered a set of Berk ceramic cats.

It is almost time to put my car away for the winter. I am going to try to get them installed before that. I will post again once I get them installed.
