cleaning your aftermarket exhaust tips and muffler
Outta curiosity...what do you guys use to clean the residue off your tips? also what about the gunk that sticks to your muffler? tks

Wadding polish or any good quality metal polish. If you've never cleaned it and gunk is stuck to it, you may have to use steel wool first.

o yea, i use clay bar for heavy deposits and wax to get the rest off, aluminum/metal polish works well too.

This worked great on the exhaust of my RX-7. My tip will get yellowish after some time and then get the black stuff all over them. This stuff made it look new.

Mother's all metal polish in the small red and white jar at Wal-Mart, 4 bucks and a terry towel and your tips will be as good as new. Great stuff I use in detailing cars.
